V-Cone Blender Overview

The V-Cone Blender is a highly efficient, gentle, and low-shear batch mixer used for blending dry powders and granules. Its unique “V” shaped vessel design promotes effective tumbling and cascading of materials, which results in excellent homogeneity with minimal product degradation. The V-Cone Blender offers short mixing times, low power consumption, and easy cleaning. It is especially well-suited for fragile, cohesive, or heat-sensitive powders requiring uniform blending without segregation.

Working Principle

The V-Cone Blender consists of two cylindrical sections joined at an angle forming a “V”. As the vessel rotates on a horizontal axis, materials inside cascade and split continuously along the vessel’s geometry. This promotes efficient intermixing with minimal shear and segregation. The unique shape also allows nearly complete emptying without dead spots.
