Twin Shaft Paddle Mixer Overview
The Twin Shaft Paddle Mixer is engineered for rapid and homogeneous mixing of bulk powders, granules, and light pastes. Featuring dual counter-rotating shafts equipped with angled paddles, it creates high turbulence and fluidizes the entire material bed. This design ensures quick mixing, minimal dead zones, and uniformity—even in large batch operations. Commonly used in industries like fertilizers, feed, chemicals, and food ingredients.
Working Principle
Two paddle shafts rotating in opposite directions generate strong axial, radial, and tangential flows within the vessel. The result is a fluidized, continuously moving bed where materials circulate, mix, and blend quickly. The combination of turbulence and paddle agitation dramatically reduces mixing time and enhances blend uniformity.
