Jacketed Mixer Overview

The Jacketed Mixer is a specially designed mixing system integrated with a thermal jacket to control the temperature of the product during processing. Working Principle

A rotating agitator inside a jacketed vessel performs the mixing operation while heat transfer takes place between the jacket fluid and the product. The agitator design (anchor, paddle, or turbine) depends on the material viscosity and desired shear level. The thermal jacket facilitates indirect heating or cooling, maintaining uniform product temperature throughout the batch. Optional vacuum or pressure configurations enable operations like emulsification, degassing, or controlled reactions.
