The Jacketed Mixer is a specially designed mixing system integrated with a thermal jacket to control the temperature of the product during processing. It is suitable for applications that require heating, cooling, or maintaining precise temperatures during blending, emulsifying, or reaction stages. The mixer vessel is jacketed with steam, thermal oil, or chilled water to support temperature-sensitive processes in industries like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, and food.

Working Principle
A rotating agitator inside a jacketed vessel performs the mixing operation while heat transfer takes place between the jacket fluid and the product. The agitator design (anchor, paddle, or turbine) depends on the material viscosity and desired shear level. The thermal jacket facilitates indirect heating or cooling, maintaining uniform product temperature throughout the batch. Optional vacuum or pressure configurations enable operations like emulsification, degassing, or controlled reactions.
